Among their ranks too is the call for another six years for P-Noy as leader of the land. The Philippine Constitution only allows a single six year term for Presidents so for P-Noy to run for a second term in 2016 needs a Constitutional amendment. Well, if Batman P-Noy can not run next May, then who but Robin Mar should head the Liberal Party ticket. News about some Liberal Party members toying with the idea of adopting Senator Poe as Presidential candidate does not faze the loyal Liberal Party base. Yellow Netizens are banking on the Ombudsman and/or the Justice Department to make life miserable for frontrunning Vice President Jojo Binay. In the Liberal Party wish list are a number of scenarios: Jojo Binay in jail, Jojo Binay suspended as Vice President, and Jojo Binay resigning his cabinet position. It is the view of the Yellow Netizens that a gravely weakened, battered and staggering Binay would somehow find a way for Mar Roxas to win the Presidency.

After months of stating that the second batch of senators for persecution in the PHP 10 Billion Napoles Pork Barrel Fund Scam is in process, now here comes Justice Secretary Leila De Lima to contradict herself and declare that there will be no second batch of senators to be indicted (at least while she remains as Justice Secretary). The Department of Justice is simply too busy to attend to such trivial matter. After all what is a few hundred millions of pesos of public funds going to the pockets of senators, congressmen and congresswomen, plus heads and top officials of the line agencies of the Executive Department. Such an announcement was long predicted by conspiracy theorists that have always maintained that the current administration’s Tuwid na Daan (Straight Path) is just a fancy term that means nothing at all. Actually Tuwid na Daan means Justice in such issues as grand scale graft and corruption which is why sitting senators Juan Ponce Enrile, Jinggoy Estrada and Bong Revilla are now in jail for PLUNDER. The only problem is that the Tuwid na Daan’s concept of JUSTICE is, in truth, SELECTIVE JUSTICE. Perish the thought of a blindfolded Lady Justice holding court and passing judgment on the poor and the almighty, the well connected and the social outcasts, the professionals and the uneducated.

So who are now getting away scot-free? Senators Bong Bong Marcos, Loren Legarda and Tito Sotto are sleeping better these nights. A tsunami-strength pornography spam devasted hundreds of Facebook group pages as the top social network algorithm failed to recognize a concerted effort by flooders and spammers to bring down the highly popular Facebook group pages. Facebook has always maintained that the responsibility to keep said group pages clean lies on the page administrators. In the course of the usual day-to-day events, page administrators are able to manage their group pages by approving posts and either blocking offensive content from being posted or removing said posts that are not allowed by Facebook rules and regulations. However, when the most recent pornography link was released, it was able to embed itself in the now popular smartphones thru Android applications and thus spread like wildfire since it triggered friends of those who got the virus to release the same to their own set of friends. Facebook group admins quickly recognized the gravity of the problem and acted to remove the deluge of pornographic material (frontal nudity, sex act, triple X videos and pictures). Pretty soon alarmed Facebook group members started reporting the matter to Facebook who, in turn, CLOSED DOWN the groups leaving millions of the group members in cyber limbo. Facebook should have acted quickly to disable the offensive links to prevent its spread or maybe even just removed the ability of the link to show lewd pictures (meaning people would see the link but there would be no accompanying picture). The problem here lies with the Facebook algorithm which failed to run after the evil doers but instead punished the innocent group members and their admins.

The People’s Republic of Vietnam is the world”s major exporter of PORNOGRAPHY. Using social media, Vietnamese hackers and programmers are creating, distributing and causing the massive proliferation of PORNOGRAPHIC material through the Internet, mainly in Facebook. Unwitting Facebook members are enticed by sexy video links that in turn “capture” the victims’ Facebook accounts causing the sending out of the lewd messages thus replicating the virus by distributing the triple-X material to their Facebook friends. Some of the messages are even made to appear as if they originated from the Philippines although most Filipinos can discern the foreign origin of the text due to the FRACTURED TAGALOG USAGE (obviously caused by using translation services that are more literal than linguistically correct).

There is no indication that this cyber porno attack is state sponsored (the government of Vietnam, that is) but it is disconcerting for Vietnamese netizens to target the Philippines (probably because Facebook is banned in China, which is their historical enemy). It is also sad that Vietnam has a glorious military history having defeated their colonizer France and foreign invader United States in wars that left their country in ruins for decades. Now that Vietnam is back on its feet and achieving spectacular economic gains, we see no reason for this cyber display of arrogance. The Philippines should request its telecoms and local branch of Facebook to filter cyber traffic from Vietnam as a fisrt step to stopping these attacks against the very moral

In the subset of the computer savvy, skilled in Dota, Grand Theft Auto, Clash of Clans, Warcraft and other blockbuster games, have risen a new breed of flooders and spammers who disdain proliferating selfies and celebrity pictures and post pornography links instead. Facebook personal pages, fan pages and groups are teeming with nude pictures, sex act photos and triple X content. Unwary Facebook members, hoping to catch the latest news from relatives, classmates and friends are shocked beyond disbelief upon seeing graphic photos in their walls (when tagged by a “friend”) or in their news feeds when the offensive pictures find their way to the pages of their friends. Facebook has a faulty reporting system where page owners are mandated to clean their pages when Facebook can actually remove the offensive links themselves. Instead of punishing accounts responsible for spreading the porn viruses, Facebook takes action against the pages where the porn links are posted. Group pages, personal accounts and fan pages are mere victims to the concerted effort of porn spammers yet Facebook takes it against them in their inability to control the sex viruses spam spread. Surely all the sexual content on the internet will have an effect on the national moral fiber and those responsible for the proliferation porn of video or photo links could soon graduate (if they have not done so already)
