Aquino adminstration allies are floating the idea of a Grace Poe – Mar Roxas ticket with the daughter of FPJ becoming the standard bearer and main threat to challenge leading Presidential contender Vice President Jojo Binay. Then there are rumors too of a Grace Poe – Chiz Escudero run which is the more natural combination if Grace Poe herself is given the chance of choosing her vice-presidential candidate. Of course, it is pretty obvious that the main reason for all these previously unheard of pairings is the pathetic popularity ratings of Mar Roxas, long considered to be the 2016 Liberal Party Presidential bet. With the chances of Mar Roxas winning the top post derby looking farther and farther away with each passing day, the Liberal Party is in PANIC MODE especially if President Aquino and/or Mar Roxas himself decide to field Mr. Palengke in the Presidential race against all odds.
