The phenomenal GMA7 Eat Bulaga segment named Kalye Serye broke Twitter records last Saturday featuring AlDub’s first date. The episode garnered 12.1 MILLION tweets in 24 hours. Seven days later with Alden and Yaya Dub’s second Saturdate the episode with #AldubEBforLOVE (OFFICIAL AlDub Tweet for today), now has 20 million tweets and counting. Considering that this article is being written on the 20th hour of the day (therefore 4 hours remain before we can have the final figure) we have a few more hours to further rack up the figure. Take note that Channel 2’s Showtime celebrated its anniversary today with a big bash in Araneta Coliseum so there was an expected strong Twitter effort on the part of the Kapamilya channel..
