President Aquino stated that DILG Secretary Mar Roxas is number one in his list for LP Presidential candidate for 2016. The highly unpopular Roxas has very small chances of victory but Liberal Party loyalists stil insist on riding a sinking ship. Long-time Liberal Party stalwarts reject the concept of drafting an outsider in the name of Senator Grace Poe who has credible numbers in popularity and acceptance surveys. This situation could force the daughter of Da King Fernando Poe Jr. to strike out on her own with Senator Chiz Escudero as her preferred Vice Presidential candidate. A split among the Administration coalition members, Roxas and Poe, would result in a WEAKER force that would challenge front-runner Vice President Jojomar Binay in a hotly-contested May 2016 Presidential derby.
