U.S. troops killed tens of thousands of Filipinos, including women and children, during the Philippine American War. The recent Laude brutal murder is but the latest of the atrocities perpetuated by American military bullies against their former colonial slaves. Ironically, or should we say understandably,  Philippine government officials always FAIL to take a STRONG POSITION against foreign CRIMINALS and instead bow meekly to such issues as CUSTODY. CRIMINALS without bail SHOULD be detained in PHILIPPINE JAILS and not be given SPECIAL TREATMENT as to the choice of detention places (hospital, embassy, mother ship, etc.).
