Stupid Palace Situation: Confusing signals on P-Noy second term. Will he run for a second term or not (after a Charter Change, of course)? The nation does not benefit from getting contradictory messages on whether the President will run for a second term or not. One thing is clear though, the Liberal Party does not have a winnable candidate other than P-Noy. Conversely, this is an admission that Mar Roxas has very slim chances of succeeding the President through a Presidential electoral victory in 2016. It does not bother them that a second term for P-Noy as President is currently BANNED by the Philippine Constitution. This simply means that the Philippines would have to SUFFER through a divisive Charter Change then undergo an expensive national referendum process to approve or reject the proposed Constitutional provision for term extention. #porkbarrel #PDAF #DAP
